Learn Tax Law From the Experts Who Know It Best!
National Licensing is on the way. For the first time in history, IRS will be mandating all paid tax preparers pass IRS competency exams. (CPAs and Enrolled Agents and attorneys are the only paid tax professionals who are exempt from this requirement.) IRS has announced plans to begin testing preparers by Summer of 2011.
Oregon requires all paid tax preparers take an approved 80-Hour Basic Tax Course and pass Board administered examinations.
California requires all paid tax preparers complete an approved 60-Hour Basic Tax Course in Federal and California Law.
Pacific Northwest Tax School's Basic Tax Course is the leading school for students who want to prepare for IRS or state licensing exams.
